Fall Must Have: Black Leather Pants

Got mine at T.J Maxx for $20

Here is one of the outfits that I put together with these pants.

Where I got this look?: Tank: Older Forever 21, Belt, Necklace, & Bracelet: Normstorm’s, Boots: Urban Outfitters, Purse: Newer Henri Bendel (Got this a couple months ago with my mom, a 65% off sale, and it was only $90).

Here is another outfit.

Where I got this look?: Shoes: Older Jeffrey Campbells, Shirt: Vintage, Purse: Newer Steve Madden (Got this only for $30), Bracelet: T.J Maxx, Necklace: Older Forever 21.

Tip: Since the shoes have a dull green in them, the brighter purse will bring out the details in the shoes, which I love!

Enjoy! – H

On Thursday, I moved into my new home at IUP with three other girls and it has been a blast. I love our house, love my roommates, and hearing word from a direct sponsorship has made this week unforgettable. I have been so happy to be here at IUP and all moved in my new room. But here are a few pictures of my room and some awesome heels I have brought for going out.

Here is a picture of my new room and my bed. The comforter is from Anthropology and I am obsessed with it. The picture in the middle was made by one of my best friends, Sarah. The outside pictures are my favorite part of my room. I got those from a smaller store in Ocean City, NJ. I love the colors of both of them with my comforter. The one picture says imagine and the other one says, you can fly if you want to. Perfect words of wisdom to wake up to every morning. Also, every year being back at school, I make my dad go to Costco and get me a huge box of Fruit by the Foot, they’re my favorite.

I got these heels from T.J Maxx for $25. With shoes in college you need to follow two rules; the cheaper, the better and make sure they are easy to walk in. I love these colors and they are very easy to match outfits with.

I got these last year from Urban Outfitters. They were a little pricey and the fabric is not holding up very well, but you can’t ignore how unique and cute they are. I wore them out the first night back at school and got a ton of compliments. Also, because of all of the colors, they can go with anything!

Cheers! And keeping checking out the blog for a room post and what my favorite aspects of my room and house are!

My favorite fall trends.

Trends in post: Costume vintage jewelry, short boots, printed pants, & big sweaters.

As fall semester is quickly approaching for most of us (and the limited time for all of the packing, book ordering, & etc), I thought now would be the best time for a fall outfit post! Here are some of my favorite fall trends and newer things I got for the approaching school year. Also, my friend Shannen took all of the photos (and they look AMAZING), so check out her site that I will post at the end of the blog… enjoy.

Outfit: Boho Chic

I love this outfit because of how comfortable the pants are. Therefore, I thought it would be a great choice for early morning classes and more ideas for comfortable clothing for those (gotta love them) 8 AMS..

Tip: If you are wearing baggy clothing (like the pants and  the sweater), pick a tighter tank or shirt to wear underneath the sweater so the entire outfit does not look so big on a figure. Also if you are wearing baggy pants, always pick shorter boots to go with them. With taller boots, the extra fabric around the knee ends up folding over.

Where I got this look?: Pants & Necklaces: Goodwill, Tank: H&M, Sweater: (older) Pac Sun, Boots: Vintage, Purse: (older) Free People, Bracelet: T.J Maxx

Check out Shannen’s photos here!

I styled several more outfits for fall trends posts, so follow any of the media accounts for when the posts will be up!

Cheers – H
